Ìtàn Table was founded by Teniola Adekanmbi, whose love of cooking, hospitality and bringing people together began long before it became a business.
With a successful career in technology and consultancy, Teniola developed a natural ability to combine creativity, structure and an understanding of people. But alongside her professional life was another passion, the power of food to bring people together and create lasting memories.
Over time, that passion grew beyond her own kitchen and became the foundation for something bigger.
Ìtàn Table was born.
The name Ìtàn, meaning “story” in Yoruba, reflects the heart of the brand: every dish has a story, every recipe carries a memory, and every table creates an opportunity for new stories to be told.
For Teniola, cooking has never simply been about preparing food.
