Privacy policy
Who we are
Ìtàn Table by Ten10 is a food and catering business based in Croydon, London, run by Teniola Adekanmbi. We are responsible for the personal information described on this page.
You can contact us about anything here using the contact details at the bottom of every page.
What we collect
When you order: your name, phone number and email address, your delivery address if you choose delivery, what you ordered and any notes you add.
When you send an enquiry: your contact details and what you tell us about your occasion, such as the date, the number of guests and any dietary needs.
If you create an account: your name, your email address and your password, which is stored in a scrambled form that nobody can read.
We never see or store your full card details. Payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal.
Why we use it
To take, prepare, deliver and confirm your order, and to contact you about it. We need this to carry out our agreement with you.
To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote, which you have asked us to do.
To keep the business and tax records the law requires.
To keep ordering safe, for example by limiting repeated unpaid checkouts. This is in our legitimate interests and yours.
We only send you marketing if you have agreed to it, and we never sell your information.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the business: Stripe and PayPal (payments), Resend (sending our emails), Vercel (hosting this website) and Prisma (our database).
Some of these providers may handle information outside the UK. When they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
We will also share information if the law requires us to.
Cookies and your browser
We use only essential cookies: one keeps you signed in if you have an account.
Your basket, your postcode and the contact details you type at checkout are saved in your own browser, so you don't lose them between visits. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
Our visitor statistics do not use cookies and do not identify you.
How long we keep it
Orders and payment records: for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting, usually six years.
Checkouts that were started but never paid for are deleted automatically after 48 hours.
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to two years, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us.
Your account: until you ask us to close it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it. Contact us using the details at the bottom of this page and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
